This YouTuber Is Being Cooked After "Fatphobia" Remarks

In what some are calling “the spiciest controversy of the week,” Live Streamer and YouTuber MedusaDaSedusa found himself in hot water after uploading his latest video, “EATING OVER 10,000 CALORIES A DAY – James Bola.”

The video, which has already been viewed over 11,000 times, features Medusa gamely tackling known LOLcow James Bola and his addiction to mountains of food, lack of fitness, self-image, and the spiritual experience of consuming an entire cheesecake at 3 a.m. However, just hours after posting, his comment section began to resemble a battlefield.
Critics accused the content creator of being “insensitive” and “fatphobic,” claiming that the video’s comedic tone trivialized real struggles with body image. One commenter wrote, “He said ‘Wow you're fat phobic and need to be cancelled” Medusa promptly responded on Twitter (not X, because that's a dumb name for a non-pornogrhic site) "Cancelling myself"

The Response

Even some of his mutuals joined in on the discourse, calling for a good old-fashioned canceling—a time-honored internet ritual where no one really wins, but everyone gets to feel morally superior for 48 hours. 

Content Creator and Friend of the Moustache had this to say:
"Glad this is finally coming to light. Seems like the right time to speak my truth. All through TwitchCon, Medusa wouldn't stop calling me the Pillsbury Dough Boy. He'd poke at my belly and say, "What's up, my little dough boy" or "Ayo Pillsbury, you got any cookies for me" - Affected Brit, No_Oj

Alleged friend & popular IRL shennigans haver Kio_Plays also had some chose words on the matter: 

"I'm here to speak my truth: Everytime he came up to me, he said "Hershey Nips". At first I thought he was talking to Uncle_Eski, but then I turned around and he's was giving me direct eye contact. He approached me, picked me up, and said " wow, okay big boy" And slapped my tummy." Kio_pauses for a quick game of Kingdom Hearts before resuming his comment. "He told some other Kick streamers to get in on this and without hesitation they shoved cameras up in my face and started drumming to the sound of Seven Nation Army. That one rapper girl started freestyling shortly after and I was redder than my stomach from all the slapping"

Truly it is a dark day on the internet. 

MedusaDaSedusa reportedly went live later that night to address the controversy. “I’m not fatphobic,” he said between bites of a family-sized lasagna, “I’m just built different—literally. I’m six-foot-seven with a giraffe metabolism. I have to eat this much just to blink.”
Fans quickly turned the tide, coining the hashtag #GiraffeManStrong, celebrating their long-necked hero for leaning into the absurdity. One loyal supporter wrote,

“He can’t be canceled; his neck’s too long to catch.”
Despite the chaos, the controversy seems to have done little harm. In fact, MedusaDaSedusa’s channel has only grown—his subscriber count now climbing closer and closer to 5,000.
So whether you believe he’s a menace to society or just a misunderstood giraffe-man trying to meet his caloric needs, one thing’s for sure: MedusaDaSedusa is standing tall—figuratively and literally.
